Library Services

Programs

The library hosts several programs throughout the year.   Some are regularly scheduled while others may be one-time special events that are educational, informational, or cultural in nature.

Some regularly scheduled events include:

  • A weekly pre-school story time is geared toward 3-5 year olds and is held on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 am to 10:45 am during the school year.
  • During the summer, the Summer Reading Program is available for all age groups.
  • Once a month the Library hosts "First Thursday" which is led by the Hale County Literacy Council and is a story-time for elementary-age children.

To find out about upcoming one-time programs visit the the News/Events section of this website or "like" the Unger Memorial Library Facebook page.

If you are interested in hosting a program please read the Library Meeting Room information below and contact the Library by either coming by or calling (806) 296-1148.

We also have a few display cases that you might want to use for a few weeks or a month.  See the Display Cases tab below.
