Library Services

During the COVID-19 pandemic the Library had to shut its doors to the public from late March until June 1st, and then again in November.  During that time we began offering curbside service to all our patrons.  They could look up the books they wanted (or use our New Books or Award Books lists) and then either call us with the book information (including the call number) or apply for the materials online.  The only thing required was a valid library card - and we even began an online application for that since one couldn't apply face-to-face during that time.

The library staff then retrieved the materials and bagged them up.  When the patron arrived at the Library they called us and we would run the bag out to their car.  After the Library reopened we decided that we still needed the service for busy patrons who couldn't get by the Library until late in the day or because they couldn't spend time away from home.

So today, curbside delivery of books is still used by our patrons, and we encourage you to use it when you have the need.  Curbside is available during regular Library hours, Monday-Saturday, except when closed for holidays.  To order, see below.
