AccessibilityThe Unger Memorial Library is accessible for most people with mobility and other disability issues. The entrance/exit to Unger Memorial Library has a push-button that will open both the inner and outer doors when the Library is open. There is one accessible bathroom that is reserved for those with mobility and disability issues. This bathroom can also be used as a changing station by anyone in the library with a baby. |
An elevator is located in the southwest corner of the building that will take you to all three floors of the Library. To access this go through the children's section and then through the door in the southwest corner. When you go through the door you will go slightly to the right then straight ahead to call the elevator. Due to our replacement of shelves in the adult book section, you may not be able to reach some books. We do have a stepladder and kickstools if you are mobile. Otherwise, the staff can pull a book for you. If you need any other assistance please let someone at the circulation desk know and we'll assist you in any way we can. |
